Most of you don’t know me (yet) but I’m Holly Johnson, the new Marketing Coordinator at KELTEK.
This week I was lucky enough to join three colleagues at the Panasonic Mobility Partner Summit in Litchfield, Arizona. The summit brings together Panasonic partners, distributors, vendors, and mobility team members for two days of collaboration and sharing of resources. Attending events like this keeps us ahead of the game in an ever evolving market, it allows us to learn from the past, and gives us time to plan for the future.
From the moment we arrived at The Wigwam, excitement filled the air. The Mobility Summit is the first event I have been able to attend with my new teammates and what a way to start!
So why should you care? Here are just a few of the highlights that you might find valuable from our trip to the Panasonic Partner Summit 2019.
Education On Upcoming TOUGHBOOK Releases
We all want to be the first to know when new and exciting things are going to be released… Look no further because KELTEK was provided a device roadmap for upcoming releases and the added benefits these products have compared to later models. There are a couple of exciting product announcements that we will be able to share closer to Q3 of this year (hint: subscribe to our blog to be the first to know). KELTEK will keep you updated as these new models come out and will make sure you fully understand each new feature, as well as how it can make your day-to-day job duties easier.
Best Practices & Case Studies
The collaboration between distributors was something I had never witnessed before within companies that were essentially competitors. The sharing of what has worked best for each vendor was very beneficial and informative. It also showed the group mindset of doing what is most rewarding for our customers, by putting egos aside to share what helps who matters most.
Case studies were presented on unique solutions resellers came up with for the challenges they faced within their businesses or how they resolved issues pubic safety officers face daily. This provided proactive solutions we could all take something away from, and will give us the ability to serve you more effectively.
KELTEK was even featured as a case study at the event for our success with implementing our Fleet-as-a-Service program for public safety.

Improving The Customer Experience
One of the sessions had a deep focus on updates from headquarters diving into the continuous efforts being put in place to improve the overall customer experience. From supply chain information, to distribution channels, we were given the guidance needed to make processes more efficient and timely as far as receiving product is concerned.
Also mentioned was the adding of Pro-services to create broader solutions for our customers while troubleshooting devices. We know you don’t go into the field of public safety to spend time dealing with technical or device issues. You deserve to spend your time in the community serving the public, not on a 1-800 call.
National Visionary Award
For me personally the biggest highlight of the summit is when the KELTEK team was called onto stage to accept an award for being an innovative and visionary partner for Panasonic.
I believe the KELTEK team received this award because of the strong goals set in place to make the outcome of our services the best possible solution for you, our customer. Putting ourselves in your shoes and providing a one stop shop of remedies when it comes to your fleet’s computers, cameras, and connectivity.
For it being my fifth day on the job, (yes, I am serious) I could not have been more ecstatic to start my journey with a customer-centric company, that is continuously thinking outside of the box.
Conclusion
By the end of the summit, friends had been made, partnerships strengthened, and so much added to the way we are able to serve you better. If I could wrap it all up in one word, it would be: COMMITTED.
Panasonic is committed — in fact, doubling down — on their focus to make sure the products they produce are more than (the best) rugged products on the market; that they are solutions that work in your high stakes day-to-day environment.
